Vehicle 420

 

This 2015 Tahoe was ordered April 8th and delivered November 24th, 2014.  Unit was placed in service December 6th, 2015
Vehicle 420 was purchase with the Special Services Police package for $33,000 from Don Hattan Chevrolet. 
It will be used by Fire Lieutenant Fred Heersche by the Duty Officer's as a first response vehicle.

     

Truck is equipped with a Setina Push Bumper, Havis Shield Console, Whelen LED lights w/ arrowstick, Whelen dual amplifier siren, 2 Kenwood 450 MHz radios & 2 Motorola 800 MHz radios.  Striping and lettering done by Bill Davis Design & Sign here in Mulvane.

 

Two Panorama Antenna's supply all four two-way radios plus have GPS, WiFi and Celluar antenna's built into them. 

 Motorola XTL 2500 mobile and XTS 5000 converta-com portable radios are set up with Sedgwick County and the State of Kansas P-25 Digital Radio system. 

Kenwood 450 Mhz Digital radios include Sumner County's new LTR Trunking system which was installed in December 2012.
