| Engine 401 Engine 401 is a 2006 Elite Rescue Pumper, sold by Murphy's Fire & Rescue in Kansas City. It was delivered on August 14th, 2006. It has a 4 door Freightliner Business Class M2 cab with rear A/C, 330 hp Cat C-7 engine, Allision 3000 EVS 5 speed automatic transmission, 1750 GPM Waterous 2 stage pump with a 1,000 gallon water tank and "On-Spot" tire chains. It is equipped with a Honda 6.5kw generator, 2,000 watt elevating "Stem Lite", 20 gallons class "A" foam, 1,000 feet of 5" LDH, 800 feet of 3" hose & a 1250 GPM Elkhart monitor. The truck also carries TNT combination rescue tool, cribing & extrication saw. The ladders, carried on a hydraulic ladder rack, include a 10' attic, 14' roof, 36' extension & a 11' little giant. This truck cost $270,000 with all new loose equipment and is owned by the City of Mulvane.
